The Thornapple Area Parks and Recreation Commission (TAPRC) is planning for our community's future. TAPRC has partnered with the Thornapple Area Enrichment Foundation, an affiliate of the Barry County Community Foundation, to start an endowment fund. We believe in the value of our programs to promote healthy lifestyles and help everyone enjoy our beautiful surroundings. As we look around we see growth in our community and we want to continue to help in a substantial way. In our 20-year history, our programs have relied on local government matches, participation fees, team sponsors and grants from the Barry County United Way to cover our costs. That support will continue and we are grateful. This new fund will give us additional resources to meet the ever-changing need for recreational opportunities for everyone.  Help us grow the future of parks and rec right here in our backyard! **A new fund is also coming soon to specifically support efforts to build a new ball field complex and community park, known right now as Sheridan Park!**
