2020 Season Information –

Registration is open for the 2020 season.  As with many things this year, we are proceeding cautiously but are hopeful we will be able to play this Fall.  We will be following all TK School and MHSAA standards to keep our athletes and families safe.  We will know more as these policies are established with HS sports and District-wide in late August.

It is important to register now so that we can communicate with registrants as new information becomes available.  

We are offering a shortened flag football season this year from September 14th thru the end of October.  We will NOT be participating with the NFL Flag Football program.  Instead, we will use “pennies” for jerseys and velcro flag belts.  We will also be reducing the registration fees to reflect the cost savings.  Registration fees will only be $25 this season (scholarships are available for free and reduced lunch kids).

  • Practice and Game Days are to be determined. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate special requests for practice/game days.  Practice and Game days will be determined once registration numbers are clearer.
  • League area – competition will be against other Middleville teams as much as possible.  There is a potential to expand to Wayland or Hastings teams depending on team numbers.  
  • Gear: Players only need athletic shoes or cleats to participate. “Pennies”, flag belts, footballs, and mouth guards will be provided. Players are encouraged to bring youth sized footballs with their names clearly marked if they have them.
  • All PPE and safety procedures will be required according to TK School policy (health checks prior to each practice/game, masks as required, social distancing, etc.)
  • Refunds will be granted if the season is cancelled before the start of the season on September 14. 
  • Players must be entering 1st-6th grade to be eligible to play.
  • COACHES NEEDED – Please consider volunteering.  There will be a coach meeting on September 13th at 3pm.  Location TBD.
  • PARENT VOLUNTEERS ALSO NEEDED – Please consider volunteering to help with health check stations before all events.
